What is The Keto Ultra Diet? Everything You Need to Know.

Just what is the Keto Ultra diet and just how does it work are just two of the questions we will be covering with this diet in today’s article.

In a world where there are new diets popping up everyday, it pays to have a place where you can check them out and see which ones appeal to you and we are happy to be that place!

Because people are different it makes the many choices of dieting a real blessing in a way because somewhere out there is one that will work for you and all you have to do is go out and find it!

Reading up on the different choices and then relating them to your own personal lifestyle will do wonders in helping you chose one for you that will work best.

Let’s take a look at what this diet is, where it came from and how it works, and if it is a safe way to lose weight and keep it off and more important will it work for you!

What is this diet?

This diet is actually based around a supplement that helps your body burn fat.

It is a combination of a fat burning supplement called keto advanced weight loss dietary supplement and exercises along with one of the many Keto diets that are in existence.

First, let’s take a look at this supplement and how it helps to do this!

Keto advanced weight loss dietary supplement:

This supplement is a fat burner that will burn layers of fat from your body and help you in your weight loss program.

Some of the claims made by the manufacturer include inducing natural weight loss, reducing fatigue, the build-up of lean muscle mass, better appetite control and it even claims it can help with eating disorders!

Just how does it work?

Keto is in reference to ketosis, which is when the body is efficiently and naturally burning fat instead of carbs.

When this process is in full effect the body is burning fat for energy and the process of losing weight safely is achieved.

The supplement will help the body achieve and maintain this state and coupled with a keto friendly diet you will be well on your way to healthy weight loss.

A simple dose of two tablets twice a day along with the proper diet is all there is to it! Now let’s look at the diet itself.

What is a keto friendly diet?

A Keto diet is an eating plan that is set up to put your body into a fast metabolism state where you burn fat for energy instead of carbs.

The manufacturer of the supplement recommends using a Kato diet that consists of 70% fat, 25% protein, and 5% carbohydrates if you are going to combine the two.

Yes this is a high fat diet and one of our other recommendations also uses it in combination with other methods to help you lose even more weight than this plan. This is that other recommendation: The 2 week diet.

There are many different diet plans other than these 2 examples for this combination, available both on the web and in your local bookstores or book sections of most supermarkets and you may also find them here.

What are the benefits of taking this supplement?

Along with the above-stated benefits you can expect to experience the one we like the most is that it regulates hormones in your body.

Eating produces a hormone called cholecystokinin, or CCK for short in your intestines and this is responsible for initiating fat burning in your body.

It also creates a situation in the stomach which never allows it to be completely empty, thus no hunger pains. This also controls cravings and prevents bad eating habits from taking over, thus leading back to weight gain!

Is this type of diet safe to use?

This diet may be fairly new but the supplement used along with it has been around for a very long time and does have a proven track record of working within a 3-month time frame.

There are some situations where it is not recommended to take the supplement without a doctors approval..

Anyone facing surgery or has cardiovascular disease, taking any kinds of medications, people who have a sedimentary lifestyle, and pregnant or breastfeeding mothers.

Some other precautions to look out for are eating junk food, eating sugar and drinking alcohol.

It is wise to reduce sugar and alcohol intake to a very small amount or eliminate them completely while you are on this diet as they will not help you in any way to achieve successful weight loss and can actually negate the effects you are looking for.

Remember all diets are geared for healthy people who may be overweight and want to lose that excess weight and live a healthier lifestyle.

They are not meant for people who are in poor health or have certain medical conditions so we recommend a visit to the doctor to make sure you are on the right path with your weight loss.

As far as using the diet itself without the supplement we have found no ill effects recorded and in fact, have found many reports of effective weight loss but at a much slower rate but we do stress to have a plan of action before starting a diet like this and follow all the directions of the supplement.

Our view:

After reading all of the reviews and reports on both the diet and the diet combined with the Keto Advanced Weight Loss dietary supplement we are happy to report that we prefer the combination method but we give both of them a big thumbs up!

As long as a person is healthy and looking to lose a set amount of weight and keep it off we feel that this program will work as good as the best of them!

There you have it!

We hope we have covered this diet in full and answered any questions you may have had involving the use of this diet.

We know there are always more questions to ask or maybe you just want to leave a comment with any successes or lack of you may have experienced with this program.

You may do so below in the comments section and happy dieting!

A Unique Way to Drop 10 Pounds in 2 Weeks & Why it Works.

Look, let’s be honest, there’s more than one way to drop 10 pounds in 2 weeks but with all the options out there, I’d like to give you one that is:

  • Unique. I’ll bet you haven’t seen this approach done yet and it isn’t boring.
  • It’s simple. Really it’s not hard to follow.
  • You can literally at what you want towards the end of it.
  • It gets easier and easier. Because it’s short and evolves as you get closer to finishing the 2 weeks, it gets easier, WAY easier.

So what is this plan? It is literally called the 2 week diet.

I found out about this diet over a year ago, and the things this particular plan taught me really changed my outlook to dieting and weight loss. I have used many of it’s tips to lose a good amount of weight. For reference, when I began trying out it’s guidelines, I was at 186 and now I am at 170.

Now this plan is indeed 14 days long, and has 4 phases to it. I personally didn’t need to drop all that much weight, so I only used 2 of the phases to get the results I did, but if you want the FULL, 10 pounds in 2 weeks effect, follow all 4 phases.

Here is how the 2 week diet helps you drop 10 pounds:

So before I get into the 4 phases, let me explain that this diet is unique because it actually mixes together 4 different, yet proven ways to lose weight. As I said earlier, there’s more than one way to lose 10 pounds, and while there’s a whole bunch of bad ways to do that are unhealthy, there’s also good ways.

What the 2 week diet does is, it combines 4 of the best and proven ways to lose weight and you go through each method every few days.

Why this works:

Not only does this process on it’s own work because you’re already doing something that is PROVEN to work, but there’s also an added weight loss benefit to changing your dieting routines and that is the “metabolic confusion” benefit.

The best way to explain this effect is this:

MOST diets lose their effect the longer you do them. This is because even though you may be doing things like cutting calories, eating low carb meals, drinking more, water, whatever the case is, the longer you do ANY of this stuff, the less effect it has on your weight loss results, because the body gets used to this and the more used to it that it gets, the less effect it has.

This is one of the reasons why MOST diets, even the best and most popular ones out there start by giving you awesome results, then as you get deeper and deeper into them, you’ll notice the weight loss results lessen and lessen and even get to a point where there are no results happening anymore.

Why the 2 week diet doesn’t fall into this trap and keeps the results coming…

Because this diet plan changes your actual eating routines every few days, you don’t let the body get used to any particular style of eating (remember, there’s 4 phases, spread across 14 days, each is unique in it’s own way).

As a result, each time you switch to a new phase, your body is basically getting a new fresh start on a new diet, and thus those initial, HIGH weight loss results, keep coming in each time you switch to a new phase, which happens every few days.

This means that through this diet plan, you are not stagnating or seeing less results, they KEEP coming in.

It’s possible to drop MORE than 10 pounds in 2 weeks with this method.

Everybody’s result varies. Through this diet plan, whatever your starting weight, how strictly you follow this plan (it’s not hard), will affect what type of results you get.

While average results are around 10 pounds in 2 weeks, sometime less, there are people who have a bigger starting weight may actually experience more weight loss results with this plan. Usually, at least 6 pounds or more is guaranteed for most.

Ok, let’s cover the 4 phases of the 2 week diet:

Phase 1: For 5 days, you’re eating low carb foods and drinking water. It is also recommended to go to sleep on an empty stomach to keep the weight loss results going throughout the night.

There’s a rotation of days where you only eat veggies to days where you eat a combination of protein foods and veggies, but this is only going on for 5 days, so it’s not that tough.

Note: If you’re taking medication, have health conditions or your eating routines require that you eat sugar and stuff like that, talk to a doctor beforehand to get their thoughts on this.

Phase 2: You literally FAST for 24 hours, which means no food for this day (day 6). This is where that trigger happens and the body, which was getting used to eating in a phase 1 routine, gets surprised by this change up.

A fast will help you keep good weight loss results going and the trick to doing this, as the 2 week diet suggests is to stop eating around the evening, so you sleep through most of the fast and thus don’t have to experience hunger for a longer period of time, you’ll literally sleep through a chunk of it.

Phase 3: This is one of the phases that actually made me drop a lot of weight and it’s the most controversial one. For just 2 days, you eat healthy, high fat foods.

Now we’re not talking burgers, fries, pizzas and other high fat foods, we’re talking HEALTHY high fat foods: Fish, turkey bacon, flaxseeds, things with omega 3’s (food for metabolism).

Men eat 1,500 calories daily while women eat 1,000 calories daily on this part of the plan.

The foods you get to eat (a list is provided) are healthy in that they speed up metabolism and actually keep the weight loss going. I wasn’t a believer in this one until I tried it and yes it works.

Phase 4: For the final 5 days of this diet, things are SUPER simple. You are allowed to eat ANYTHING you want (yes even bad stuff, though you should try to avoid that) but the key is…

You are given a formula of how many calories you need to eat daily (BMR) and all that you want to do is eat UNDER that amount. It doesn’t matter what foods you eat, so long as you don’t go over that BMR amount.

Mine was 2,100 calories daily, so as long as I kept my food intake under that, I was still losing weight.

This part of the diet is simple because it literally has you losing weight the most proven way possible: Burning more calories than you take in.

So as you can see, these 4 methods each work on their own, but mixed together as they are in this plan, make it an even more powerful effect. See before and after pictures.

Details on the author of the 2 week diet.

The man who made this specific plan is a personal celebrity trainer named Brian Flatt and his whole philosophy on weight loss is to get rid of the excess fat in the body as soon as possible, because it “weighs” you down in the most literal sense and causes health issues.

Getting rid of it quickly helps the body restore itself and return to functioning better and his plan helps you do that without getting bored and keeping the results going.

What is The Dubrow Diet? Everything Explained.

There are so many different diets to choose from and today we ask the question, what is the Dubrow diet and does it work? Yes it does, and we’ll explain how.

First, we will take a look at what it is, then we’ll examine where it came from, what the diet claims to do and how well it actually works.

We will also look at how safe it is to use because as we know people can get carried away with this type of thing and actually cause more harm than good to their bodies.

What is the Dubrow Diet and where did it originate?

This is a new diet that has hit the market and taken off in popularity in less than a month!

It was created by a couple of celebrities who have released the book explaining how it works and why.

Dr. Terry Dubrow, a plastic surgeon who also stars on the hit TV show Botched and his wife Heather of Real Housewives Of Orange County TV fame has created this program and it has taken off across America!

The name of the book is The Dubrow Diet: Interval Eating to Lose Weight and Feel Ageless is already at the top of the bestsellers list at several major bookstores and is gaining in popularity daily.

The diet is a mixture of fasting and food choices that occurs around a 12 to 16 hour fasting period.

It is really all about three things, what you eat and when you eat it and finally how much of it you eat!

They point out like many low carb programs by eliminating carbs and sticking to the least processed foods mixed with healthy fat and plenty of veggies combined with the fasting period will result in weight loss and a much healthier body and mind.

They also point to the body not only losing weight and getting healthier it is also kick-starting the process of autophagy or cell regeneration or in essence, the fountain of youth.

The fountain of youth?

Well, what they mean is you will look younger and healthier as you continue on this program because of the process of autophagy, and they claim they are walking proof that this does work and work well!

How do you use the program?

They break down the program into 3 phases of eating that happen around a 12 to 16 hour fasting period each day.

Phase One:

Starting with a 3 to 5 day period called phase one you will be eating during an eight hour period after fasting for sixteen hours.

You can eat a variety of different foods including lean protein, veggies, and one complex barb. Seeds, nuts and small servings of fruit are also allowed.

Drinks can include water, coffee, tea but no alcohol during this period.

Phase Two:

After the first three to five days you start what is called phase two.

This is the phase that will get you to your target weight. It is very similar to phase one as far as foods but you can drop the fasting down to 12 hours instead of 16 but the longer you fast the quicker you will see weight loss and reach your target weight.

You may also add more complex carbs and even drink small quantities of alcohol.

Phase Three:

Once you achieve your target weight you will stay on this phase indefinitely.

The foods are all the same as the first two phases with the addition of what they call a cheater meal.

You will fast five days a week for 12 hours and then fast two days for 16 hours.

Following this process will keep the anti-aging from the autophagy process happening and you will maintain optimum health and weight!

It sounds like a pretty good plan and one that is presently being proven to work throughout the country.

Is this program safe?

As long as one follows the advice for the types of foods to eat it poses only good health benefits.

One concern that is legitimate is by following the food recommendations one should also be taking a multivitamin daily due to the chance of not getting your daily requirements from the smaller portions of foods.

Simply by eating the healthy whole unprocessed foods recommended and not consuming unhealthy fats and sugars you can not go wrong, you will be able to get to and be able to maintain your desired weight and feel great while doing it!

This coupled with the fasting, which in essence suppresses one’s appetite, which in turn makes food portions small and easy to digest which is essential for overall good health all add up to a pretty healthy program in our eyes.

Any negative thoughts?

The book really does oversell the thin body ready for the beach look and many people know they are never going to look 18 again, but just want to be at a healthy weight and look good, and this seems to be lost in the intent of the book.

Our recommendation?

Overall it gets a big thumbs up!

It is exciting to listen to the doctor’s beliefs and see them actually playing out with the science of autophagy and it’s anti-aging effects on the body.

While this program is short on actual controlled studies real-time results are being experienced by people who are giving it a try and so far the reviews of this program look pretty good.

With more and more programs flooding the market every day it can get very confusing when it comes to which ones to try and which ones not to get involved with.

We like this one and hope you have success with it if you should decide to give it a try!

In summary, we hope we have covered this new diet and answered any questions you might have had about it but we know there are always more to ask!

Please leave us any questions or comments about the Dubrow diet if they come up 🙂

Does The 21 Day Fix Work? Yes, But This Program Works 2X Faster.

While the 21 Day Fix Works very well and reviews from people who try it are generally good, I want to compare it to another plan that is similar to it but works twice as good, a plan known as the 2 week diet, which while being a week shorter (14 days) in length will give you the same or more weight loss results (just faster).

How is it that one weight loss plan can be shorter in length but work faster? I’ll explain exactly why.

First I will explain how the 21 Day Fix works so you know what to expect and then I will explain the 2 week diet, how that works and why it’s faster acting.

First, let me explain what the 21 day fix is:

Here’s how it works (3 parts):

Part 1) You eat 5 meals every day, 3 main ones and 2 snacks in between the main ones.

When it comes to the dieting part, you get containers which are colored and sized differently to represent different food groups you’ll be eating DAILY. This includes vegetables, proteins, carbs, healthy fats, ect…

There are 7 containers in total and before you start your day, everyday you plan your meals, prepare them, put them in each container accordingly and eat them throughout the day.

You eat things like shakes, eggs, vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, basically healthy stuff.

Part 2) You also determine how many calories you will consume daily through a formula developed by this program.

Basically, it’s your weight (when you start out) times 11, then you add several hundred calories, then subtract from it to get your goal. In my case, weighing 175, and following this formula, I determined I needed to consume 1,575 calories daily to lose weight.

Now there are different formulas on this program and in the following case, that formula is for people who wish to lose weight. There is a calorie deficit you’ll be going through.

Part 3) Now each day you will also be completing one of six workouts that is provided by this program. The programs aren’t too difficult, there is some weight lifting involved and calisthenics exercises, stuff that burns fat basically.

Cost: About $50-$70 for the whole program (you get the containers, DVDs for the workouts and booklets to follow the plan and can choose to buy it in payments or for a 1 time charge).

Pros:

  • This is a solid program for weight loss and getting into better shape.
  • People do report good results with the plan, 5-10 pounds being the average.
  • There’s good, healthy foods to choose from.
  • The plan is doable for most people.
  • You can adjust the amount you eat based on how much you weigh, meaning portions are flexible.
  • There’s a 100+ foods to choose from (the approved 21 day fix list) so there is variety.

Cons:

  • Honestly, the price is the only real con, the rest is pretty positive.
  • If you seek faster results, keep reading, I’ve got a better plan to show you…

Now let me explain the diet that works 2x as fast: The 2 Week Diet:

In many ways, this plan is similar to the other one (there’s a big food list to choose from, you get an exercise plan too, and it’s fundamentally a solid plan too), but the biggest differences are:

-It’s cheaper in price (costs 2x LESS).

-Results are faster in the 2 weeks you do this plan. Average is about 6 to 12 pounds in 2 weeks. With the 21 Day Fix, you get around those results, but in 3 weeks, so it’s faster here.

-The way you eat on this plan is different (you mix up the eating habits every few days to keep your metabolism guessing and that speeds up results).

-You can actually eat more food in calories, but still lose more weight. For example, in my case, I could eat up to 2,000 calories a day, almost 500 more than on the 21 day fix and still lose a lot more weight.

-It’s less restrictive. The last 9 days, you eat WHATEVER you like. Even though it’s a form of “Cheating”, you will still lose weight during that time because of the way this plan works (read on).

Here’s how it works:

Part 1) For the first 5 days, it’s simple: You eat proteins and vegetables, drink a lot of water (tea and coffee is allowed) and this causes about 5 pounds of weight loss right there, something that the 21 day fix achieves in about 2-3 weeks. There is no calorie counting, but you are eating 4 meals a day (eat until you’re full).

Now proteins and vegetables sound boring, but there’s at least 30 different options to choose from. There is a lot of flexibility.

Part 2) Next is that you don’t eat for just 1 day. Now this is important because as you’re already losing weight, the body, just as it’s about to get used to your eating habits (which will cause it slow down metabolism) gets confused by this change and this makes it continue to burn more fat.

Part 3) For 2 days only, you diet via eating healthy fats. It’s about 1,500-2,000 calories each day, but this is another change up to your eating habits that tricks the body and helps it continue to burn fat and drop weight.

Part 4) And then there’s the last part I mentioned above where you eat whatever you like for 6 days straight. But the key to making these last 6 days work (in that you keep losing weight) is that you get a simple formula: Eat under your daily BMR, which is another term for eating less than you need a day.

If my BMR is 2,000 calories, and I eat 1,500 a day, I produce a 500 calorie deficit daily, and this will cause me to keep losing weight, in spite of eating anything I like.

So that’s pretty flexible and if you need to lose more, just eat less to make a bigger calorie deficit.

Pros:

  • Extremely fast weight loss. 2x the speed of the 21 day fix.
  • This plan also provides healthy foods and meals to help you get results.
  • Very doable exercise plan.
  • Flexible meal plans.
  • The way it mixes up how you eat actually works in your favor by making you lose more weight as a result.
  • General weight loss results are 6-12+ pounds in 2 weeks.
  • 2x as cheap as the 21 day fix.
  • A solid plan that attacks fat across the whole body. Expect to have a smaller stomach, love handle, cellulite reduction and more.

Cons:

  • Not really, it’s a solid plan.

Overall conclusions on both plans:

These are 2 solid plans worth trying out, but depending on the price you prefer and the results you want to get will depend on which one you choose.

The 2 week diet gets the bigger recommendation because it works faster and is cheaper.

Is The Red Tea Detox a Total Scam? A Real Review You Can Trust.

Ok so if you’re visiting this page, chances are one of two things:

1) You heard about the red tea detox, probably saw a bunch of review sites, blogs and/or videos praising it and want to know if it’s a total scam or actually real.

2) You never heard about this detox but you saw me recommend it from another diet/diet product review I did and you want to know if this is a plan that can really help you lose a lot of weight, quickly.

Here is the short answer:

The red tea detox (it’s a cleanse too) is powerful, very powerful, but it is not for everyone.

There are many diet plans, cleanses, detoxes and various other weight loss methods I’ve reviewed, but this one may be the most effective in terms of weight loss.

The problem however is that it can be so effective that it may not be healthy for those who are on medication or have health conditions that would make this a problem (do NOT do this plan if you’re pregnant or nursing), so if you’re either of these people, I don’t recommend the red tea detox. If anything, let your doctor know what it is (read this review first, and let them make a decision. Get a second opinion.

How powerful is this detox/cleanse? Let me put it this way…

It’s probably the most powerful acting plan I’ve come across. You can lose the most amount of weight with it, out of all the plans I’ve seen.

The reason why is because this plan combines 2 things:

1) An actual detox/cleansing stage where you drink red tea and water for about a week. You can drop at least 10-15 pounds easily during this time. At the same time though, you will not be eating for these 7 days.

2) Afterwards, there is a 2 week diet stage (14 days), where you eat differently every few days, but you still drink the same red tea during this time. In fact, this 2 week diet is something I’ve already reviewed previously and recommended (it can help you drop 16 pounds in 14 days), but when I reviewed it, it was not connected to this plan. It is now, and frankly, it makes it even more powerful as a result.

So overall, if you do the entire thing, it’s 3 weeks long, aka 21 days.

What happened was that the creator of the Red Tea Detox combined their plan with the 2 week diet to create the hybrid we have here and it’s a powerful one.

So this is basically a cleanse + a diet. And you’re saying I can drop 20 pounds or more right?

If you have 20 or more pounds of weight to get rid off, then yes. Some people may be fine with just 10, but this plan will do the trick. However, let me make something very clear:

-You don’t need to do both plans. You can JUST do the detox, then eat clean after. You will not be eating for 7 days with this option, so it is radical.

-Or you can do the 2 week diet portion of the overall plan and drink the tea, then eat clean there. This is more of a moderate version, but still very powerful.

-For the best results, do both plans (they are connected so you don’t need to figure it out, it’s laid out for you).

If you’re healthy enough, but need to drop 20 or more pounds, do the entire thing.

Let’s talk about the first part of this plan: The actual red tea detox.

So this plan is getting a lot of attention and as someone who has never heard of it, but has done different cleanses and detoxes, I was curious. So I actually did buy the eBook (it’s over 130 pages).

So the review you are reading now is actually legitimate and not just some fake pitch. I am recommending it, but I am not recommending it to everyone (remember what I said above about it not being ideal for everyone).

Here’s what you need to know:

For 7 days you are drinking this red tea that you have to make yourself (You can actually order it from inside the eBook, aka online). You are drinking 6 cups of this stuff daily, for 7 days.

Here is how this causes a lot of weight loss to happen:

1) The first thing is that it cleans out the system (body).

It clears out your system of toxins, waste and restores your digestive system, thus making you drop a lot of weight in the process. As someone who has experienced this in another form, I can tell you it’s real.

2) Not eating for 7 days is really the big part of this.

Let’s not kid ourselves, not eating for 7 days straight is going to make you lose weight and a lot of it. But adding this drink to your fast is actually fueling the weight loss further, as it resets the body, helps it work faster and this propels results.

Can’t eat for 7 days? Here’s how the red tea is said to help in that regard:

The ingredients you include to make the drink itself is said to suppress hunger and make you feel fuller so the fast doesn’t feel as bad as you may think. Personally, I know from doing this type of stuff that on day 3, things get pretty easy.

Ok, so what’s the recipe/ingredients?

There’s about 7 of them. One of them is rooibus tea. Then there’s also a spice called saffron and a bunch of other things like ginger. You can also use sugar substitute such as stevia (and other ingredients for flavor). There’s basically a combination of spices and herbs in this drink. This cleans out and speeds up the body’s metabolism.

Recipe instructions are inside the eBook, but you basically boil about 7 cups of this stuff together and drink it 6 times a day as I said. Then the next day, you prepare another 6 cups, and do that for either the 7 days you’re on this detox OR the full 21 days if you include the diet plan you go on post detox that I’m about to talk about now:

Now we will talk about the second part of the plan: The 2 week diet.

I’ve done a few articles on this plan and have said it works very well. It combines 4 very good ways. Here is the explanation:

With this part of the plan, instructions, food lists and charts are provided. It’s honestly not a difficult plan to do and after you’ve done the first phase (if you elected to that is), this remaining 14 day plan is very simple to complete. You will probably not even feel hungry a single day.

So overall, this is the plan summarized:

-Drink 6 cups of red tea for 7 days (no eating).

-Complete the 14 day diet while drinking the same thing every day.

You can choose to do one of these plans on it’s own OR you can do both, for a complete 21 day “reset” to get the best weight loss results. But remember, if you’re not healthy enough to do this, don’t. Talk to a doctor please.

So there it is, the full review of the red tea detox. I hope I have answered your questions as I know how vague the other reviews are. If you have anymore, do let me know. Here’s the link to the diet plan itself if you want to do it.
